Testimonials

As difficult as it is to make remarks public (with permission), these words will describe some of the ways I serve my clients. No two clients are the same. Nothing is typical in the end of life trail. Your experience is yours, and yours alone. I will be there to take this journey with you as far as you desire.

Sue Lawrence, you are my angel.

Since being diagnosed with anal cancer and facing difficult decisions within a dysfunctional medical system, you have been my guide, confidant, and blessing. You’ve helped me develop critical questions for oncologists and surgeons, joined me by phone during medical appointments, and carefully took and organized notes, while respectfully asking questions I didn’t remember or know to ask.

Because of your training and your own personal medical journey, you truly understand my fears of the unknown. That gave me and my wife immeasurable comfort. You’ve never pressured me toward any particular treatments. Instead, you believed in. me and supported me in trusting myself to make my own decisions. As you know, I’m very independent thinking, and empowering me to make my own decisions is very important.

You’ve helped me release my fear of dying and honored my understanding that I do not have to suffer the side effects of chemo and radiation if I choose. You’ve helped me with tough conversations with my wife and supported both of us during this time. I thank you from my heart and should as I walk this challenging journey day by day, one step at a time. I am profoundly blessed to have you in my life. “Thank you” doesn’t come close.
